NZ Music T-Shirt Day Returns - Louder and Ready to Take Over Aotearoa

Dust off your favourite band tee - NZ Music T-Shirt Day is back for 2026.

On Friday 29 May Aotearoa will once again turn into a sea of iconic tees, as music lovers across the country wear their favourite artist on their sleeve (literally) in support of MusicHelps - the charity using the power of music to help and heal New Zealanders in need.

From offices to classrooms, radio studios to record stores, NZ Music T-Shirt Day is a chance to celebrate the artists we love, while backing the people behind the music. Every dollar raised helps fund projects that use music to support wellbeing, connection and healing across the country.

This year, we’re calling on our friends in the media to help us get the word out

We would love you to get creative - whether that’s hosting on-air challenges, spotlighting local artists, or building full-blown activations around the day.
